About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and highly strategic Fundraising Manager to lead and execute capital-raising initiatives across the MTW Group of Companies. This role is ideal for a driven professional with a strong background in investment fundraising, government grant acquisition, investor relations, and financial due diligence. You’ll play a critical role in building and executing fundraising strategies from seed to growth-stage funding, as well as exploring public and private sector capital sources, including government grants, VCs, HNIs, and institutional funds.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Fundraising & Investment Planning:

• Design and execute holistic fundraising strategies aligned with each business’s growth stage and industry type.
• Lead capital raising from government sources, incubators, accelerators, angel investors, and VCs (from seed to Series A+).
• Develop investor pitch decks, financial models, and due diligence materials for each funding round.
• Oversee the implementation and evolution of a group-wide fundraising roadmap.

Investor Relations & Partnership Development:

• Build, manage, and nurture long-term relationships with key investors, donor networks, funding bodies, and financial institutions.
• Act as the primary liaison between internal leadership and external funding stakeholders.
• Represent the organization in funding events, incubator summits, and industry forums.

Grant Writing & Philanthropic Capital:

• Identify and apply for relevant government, CSR, and philanthropic grants.
• Write compelling grant proposals that align with program impact and funding priorities.
• Monitor and report on grant performance, utilization, and compliance.

Due Diligence & Compliance:

• Manage investment due diligence workflows including financial documentation, legal setup, term sheets, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting to investors and donors.
• Stay updated with regulatory guidelines and funding norms across sectors.

Fundraising Operations & Event Execution:

• Utilize tools like Raiser’s Edge, CRM platforms, or fundraising software to manage donor/funder records.
• Organize and support fundraising campaigns, virtual or physical roadshows, and high-value networking events.
• Track fundraising KPIs, donor engagement, and campaign outcomes regularly.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s in Finance, Business Administration, or related fields; CA/MBA preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, investment banking, financial consulting, or development finance.
• Proven track record of fundraising from institutional investors or impact funding bodies.
• Experience working with startups, grant bodies, donor agencies, or government-backed financial programs.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, startup capital structures, and investor expectations.
• High emotional intelligence and strong stakeholder management skills.
