Job description

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of PHP developers (minimum 4 years of team management experience).
• Architect, develop, and maintain robust and scalable PHP applications in a product-based setup.
• Integrate Meta/Facebook APIs for real-time data operations and social integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Designers, and DevOps.
• Identify and resolve complex technical problems with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement and maintain AI modules and machine learning integrations within PHP applications.
• Manage and optimize server configurations and ensure system security and stability.
• Write clean, maintainable code and enforce best coding practices and code reviews.
• Stay current with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in PHP, AI, and cloud/server management.
• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP, Laravel, Core php, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to comprehend project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Engage in the entire software development lifecycle, including planning, designing, coding, testing, debugging, and deploying applications.
• Construct responsive and intuitive interfaces, ensuring compatibility across different browsers and optimal performance.
• Implement and integrate APIs, web services, and third-party libraries as needed.
• Conduct code reviews, resolve bugs, and enhance application performance.
• Work closely with the team to refine development processes and implement best practices.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to enhance development practices and solutions.
• Contribute to documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and test cases.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience in PHP development with a strong background in product-based companies.
• Proven expertise in Meta & Facebook APIs (Graph API, Marketing API, etc.).
• At least 4 years of experience in team leadership or project management roles.
• Strong understanding of OOPs, MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, and Laravel/Symfony/CodeIgniter frameworks.
• Deep understanding of server-side architecture, Linux, Apache/Nginx, MySQL, and cloud services (AWS/GCP preferred).
• Hands-on experience with AI tools or services (ChatGPT, ML APIs, AI integrations with web apps).
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical and analytical mindset.
• High level of commitment, reliability, and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Core php and CodeIgniter.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
