This role is responsible for managing and directing the development, implementation, and maintenance of ServiceNow solutions, leading teams of engineers, developers, and administrators to ensure the platform meets business needs and integrates effectively with other systems.
Highly Preferred Skills
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications, integrations, and a strong understanding of platform capabilities such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, TPRM, IRM, and custom application development.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and guide teams particularly in ServiceNow development and implementation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and display quality-oriented, sceptical thinking in high-pressure situations.
- Should be able to articulate the details and present expectations very well to team/stakeholders
- Experience with quality assurance processes and tools, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Should stay up to date with the latest industry developments, standards, and technologies.
- Expertise in software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices.

- Strong client-facing and consulting skills.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget
- ServiceNow certifications (CSM, CSA, or equivalent) are highly desirable
- Experience in agile methodologies, Scrum/Kanban models
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the ServiceNow engineering team, overseeing the development and implementation of solutions on enterprise scale domain separated ServiceNow platforms that align with business objectives.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in development, testing, and deployment of ServiceNow applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Provide expertise in developing and testing solutions that leverage the latest features of ServiceNow.
- Establish and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and performance of ServiceNow applications.
- Monitor and evaluate system performance, implementing improvements as necessary to optimize functionality.
- Facilitate training and knowledge sharing within the team to enhance skills and promote best practices.
- Serve as a point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns related to ServiceNow implementations.
- Take ownership of project timelines, deliverables, and overall quality control to ensure on-time and within budget delivery.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
- Strong attitude towards teamwork, knowledge sharing and documentation
- Analyze current technologies used within the project and work along with the team to enhance steps and processes to improve procedures
- Stay current with ServiceNow updates and industry trends to ensure the organization leverages the platform effectively.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or related field preferred
- 15+ years of total experience with at least 10 years in ServiceNow development and 5 years in leading development teams
