Position: SEO Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven SEO Team Lead to spearhead our search engine optimization efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of SEO best practices, a strategic mindset, and a proven ability to lead a high-performing team. This role is critical to driving organic traffic growth, optimizing website performance, and enhancing our online visibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to boost organic search rankings and website visibility.
• Conduct in-depth keyword research, SEO audits, and competitor analysis to identify new growth opportunities.
• Oversee all aspects of on-page and off-page SEO, including meta data optimization, link building, and content strategy.
• Analyze website performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of SEO specialists, content creators, and outreach/link-building professionals.
• Collaborate closely with content, design, and web development teams to ensure alignment with SEO best practices.
• Stay informed about the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and emerging tools or technologies.
• Prepare and deliver regular SEO performance reports and strategic insights to stakeholders and senior management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical SEO issues such as crawl errors, site structure, mobile usability, and page speed.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in a similar SEO leadership or senior specialist role.
• Expertise in SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz.
• Solid understanding of keyword research, technical SEO, and backlink strategies.
• Familiarity with content management systems, especially WordPress.
• Basic proficiency in HTML and CSS to support technical optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management capabilities.
