Job Summary

Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL/ELT solutions using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 11g/12c.
• Create, maintain, and optimize ODI mappings, packages, load plans, scenarios, and procedures.
• Integrate data from various sources (Oracle, SQL Server, flat files, APIs, etc.) into data warehouse environments.
• Collaborate with business analysts, DBAs, and data architects to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Monitor ODI jobs and troubleshoot performance issues, failures, and data discrepancies.
• Implement and enforce ODI best practices in development, deployment, and performance optimization.
• Conduct unit testing and participate in system/integration testing to ensure data accuracy and quality.
• Provide production support, issue resolution, and on-call assistance as needed.
• Maintain documentation of all ODI processes and data flows.
• Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) – version 11g and/or 12c.
• Strong hands-on expertise in building complex ODI mappings, packages, load plans, and interfaces.
• Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle RDBMS.
• Solid understanding of data warehouse concepts, ETL/ELT frameworks, and data modeling.
• Experience with Oracle GoldenGate, OBIEE, or other Oracle BI tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Shell or Python for automation.
• Experience with job scheduling tools like Control-M, Autosys, or Oracle Scheduler.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
