Test Management

Serve as Scrum Master for the testing team, guiding agile practices and ensuring smooth sprint execution.

Define the overall approach, test strategy and objectives for the projects.

Create detailed test plans including scope, objectives, schedule, resource requirements, and deliverables, entry/exit criteria.

Plan timeline and define scope of test execution for app releases.

Establish and optimize the testing lifecycle.

Identify, evaluate testing risks and define mitigation strategies.

Monitor test progress, implement control measures and participate in program level syncs to align with overall project objectives.

Create and present regular status reports or dashboards and use the metrics to assess product quality and test effectiveness.

Coordinate project test team resources for continuous testing and system verifications.

Clarify cross-team issues and resolve interdependencies.

Define release specific technical test setup, setup test concept.

Ensure test coverage, completeness and traceability.

Ensure alignment between testing activities and business goals.

Maintain testing and issue backlog.

Keep an overview of the current app quality status and be SPOC for app quality issues.

Regulatory Test Management

Create, Maintain and Own regulatory test documentation.

Own and drive change management process.

Ensure adherence to organizational QA policies, standards, and procedures.

Contribute to release process and co-work with the Release Engineer and Release Manager.

Fulfill role of regulatory Test Manager (e.g. in Design Reviews and for document releases).

Contribute to internal and external audits.

Continuous coaching to the team on regulatory compliance.

Technical and process knowledge

Experience and expertise in manual and automation testing with sound knowledge.

Deep knowledge and experience in Software Testing Life Cycle, Methodologies, Test techniques and levels.

Excellent knowledge on Agile Methodology.

Experience in mobile app testing – Android and iOS.

Ideally knowledge in medical product testing.

Experience in automation testing.

Experience in test management and defect management tools like DevOps, ALM, TFS or other similar tools.

Experience in CI/CD.

Logging defects in test management tools as per project standards and investigating/troubleshooting the system failures.

Collaboration and responsibility

Able to communicate with key stakeholders on test plans.

Adhering to test schedules and owning the responsibility for quality of the product to be delivered.

Enable existing team for self-empowered maintenance of legacy apps.

Support ramp-up of test team, evaluate team resource needs and support hiring process. Coach and Mentor new hires.

Contribute in defining new processes, procedures and structures.

Continuous Improvement

Conduct root cause analysis for escaped defects.

Identify gaps in current processes and propose improvements.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging testing practices.
