Job Description

Position: Regional Sales Manager/ Sales Manager – Biotechnology / Life Sciences


Location: Andhra Pradesh & Telangana , south India


Job Summary:


Regional Sales Manager/Sales Manager


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to achieve company sales objectives.
  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to grow market share, increase revenue, and capture new business opportunities in the region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Oversee the sales process from lead generation to deal closing, ensuring efficiency and high-quality customer service.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to ensure the sales team meets their targets and develops professionally.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs specific to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to refine the sales strategy.
  • Manage key accounts and drive business growth through cross-selling, upselling, and acquiring new customers.
  • Ensure timely collections of accounts receivable and maintain healthy payment cycles.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in Life Sciences products and competitive offerings to effectively position the company’s products.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Service, Product, Supply Chain) to ensure seamless operations and a superior customer experience.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field. MBA/MTech in Life Sciences is preferred.
  • Minimum 4 - 10 years of sales experience in the Life Sciences industry, with significant experience managing sales teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of Life Sciences products
  • Proven leadership skills, with a track record of coaching and developing high performing sales teams.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, prepare accurate sales forecasts, and make data driven decisions.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Adaptability to learn new products and keep up with industry trends.
  • Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
