The Assistant General Manager (AGM) – Channel Sales in Real Estate will be responsible for managing, developing, and growing the channel partner network to drive sales of residential real estate. This role involves overseeing the end-to-end sales process through third-party agents, brokers, and other sales partners, ensuring that sales targets are met, and channel relationships are effectively managed. The AGM will also be responsible for strategic planning, performance analysis, and team leadership.
1. Channel Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute the channel sales strategy to meet organizational sales goals for residential projects.
- Identify new business opportunities, channels, and partnerships to expand market reach.
- Design and implement incentive programs for channel partners to drive performance.
2. Channel Partner Management:
- Build, manage, and nurture relationships with existing and new channel partners, including brokers, agents, and other third-party vendors.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of channel partners and provide necessary support and guidance.
- Conduct regular meetings and training sessions for channel partners to ensure they are equipped with product knowledge and sales tools.
3. Sales Performance Monitoring:
- Track sales performance through channel partners and ensure that targets and KPIs are met consistently.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify areas for growth and improvement.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts to keep senior management informed of channel sales performance.
4. Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor the channel sales team to ensure effective execution of sales strategies.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and promote a high-performance culture.
- Foster teamwork and collaboration among the channel sales team to achieve organizational objectives.
5. Marketing and Promotional Support:
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure channel partners have the necessary marketing collateral and promotional support.
- Develop co-marketing initiatives with channel partners to generate leads and sales.
- Coordinate with the product development team to ensure the real estate offerings are aligned with market demand.
6. Customer Relationship Management:
- Ensure channel partners deliver a high standard of customer service and satisfaction.
- Address any escalated issues or concerns from channel partners or customers promptly.
- Ensure seamless coordination between the sales team, marketing team, and customer service departments to enhance the overall customer experience.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in channel sales, business development, or real estate sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of the real estate industry, market trends, and channel sales dynamics.
- Proven experience in managing and growing a channel partner network.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data, track performance, and make strategic decisions.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Additional Requirements:
- Knowledge of CRM software and sales management tools.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to travel as required for partner meetings, site visits, and industry events.
