Responsibilities
- Responsible for Automation test planning and product test strategy
- Perform API, UI automation and Performance Testing
- Create automation test scripts to verify and validate the quality of the product and its maintenance.
- Write test cases covering all the functional & non- functional functionalities of the applications.
- Test automation using automation tools like Selenium/Playwright/Testim.
- Works with the Product Owner to confirm that the acceptance tests reflect the desired functionality.
- Provides test coverage reports/automates test cases percentage.
- Manage the test environments and be ready with the test data.
- Have a good understanding of the product features and customer expectations.
- Raise any impediments/risks they come across and approaches Scrum Master/Technical Architect/PO
- Works as part of the technology team to drive quality in the organization to deliver high-quality products and services to our clients.
Requirements
- Degree in IT/CSE/ECE with 9 to 12 years of relevant IT Software Testing experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good understanding of Agile Process/ lean methodologies and shift left test approach.
- Must be flexible, independent, self-motivated, and consistent.
- Programming – Java/C#/Python
- Basic/Advanced SQL
- Scripting languages: Java script/Type script
- API testing tool: Postman or similar
- UI testing: web driver or similar
- Web application test tool: Selenium using Test Ng / Tricentis Testim
- Functional Testing
- Cucumber
- GHERKIN
- Cloud – AWS
Nice To Have
- Experience in customer-facing roles is desired
- Basic knowledge of agile framework
- Basic knowledge on Performance Testing: K6 Grafana, JMeter or similar
- Basic knowledge on Security Testing
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline
