Job title: Python Developer

Location: Pune/ Kharadi (3 days work from office mandatory)

Duration: Fulltime

Design, build and run the infrastructure services that underpin the digital products and services we provide to clients and colleagues.

· Develop and improve infrastructure services such as hosting, compute, storage, networking, security, and end-user tools and devices

· Provide infrastructure services that are easy to consume and efficient to operate, making effective use of cloud capabilities (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)

· Apply a broad range of engineering practices, from analyzing requirements and developing new features to automated testing, deployment, and operations

· Ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements

· Build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues.

· Learn new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind

· Work in an agile way as part of multi-disciplinary teams, participate in agile ceremonies, and collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and others

· Understand, represent, and advocate for client needs

· Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, help with hiring, and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities

Your team:

You’ll be working in OS and Middleware crew which is part Distributed Hosting.

Your expertise

• Ideally, 5+ years of professional application full stack development – Python, Postgresql

• Ideally, 5+ years’ experience in Web UI development covering HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and Angular

• Skills in writing efficient SQL and work on relational databases like PostgreSQL / Azure SQL / Oracle, Transaction Management and Stored Procedure implementation

• Familiar with Git as source code repository operating in DevOps principles for task automation and CI/CD pipelines

• Experience working in Agile Teams following SCRUM practices and associated ceremonies

• Nice to have: java coding experience
