About the Role

We are looking for a Python Developer to design, implement, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes using Python and Snowflake. This role involves working with pandas, heterogeneous data sources, and transforming data for analytics and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong Python programming skills, experience with Snowflake utilities (SnowSQL), and the ability to collaborate closely with team members to meet business data flow process needs.

Responsibilities

• Strong Python programming experience in Pandas.
• Develop, implement, and optimize Python-based ETL pipelines for Snowflake.
• Strong understanding of Python data structures, conditional statements data type conversions, and built-in functions.
• Work with heterogeneous sources to transform data into output files.
• Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
• Understand business requirements, functional and technical specifications.
• Develop mapping documents and transformation business rules (source-to-target).
• Collaborate closely with onsite lead data analysts for dependencies and requirements.
• Provide continuous communication on project status, both formally and informally.
• Familiarity with JIRA stories for Python development activities.

Must Have:

• Strong experience in python scripts and development, with Snowflake experience.
• Strong knowledge of Python frameworks and data processing libraries (Pandas, NumPy).
• Expertise in designing and optimizing ETL pipelines using Python and Snowflake.
• Excellent problem-solving skills for data analysis, modeling, and performance tuning.
• Strong communication skills for direct client interaction and technical documentation.
• Experience working as both an individual contributor and a team leader, mentoring junior developers.
