The candidate will be responsible for introducing students to basic computer concepts and digital literacy in a fun, interactive, and age-appropriate manner. Key Responsibilities Teach foundational computer skills, including typing, MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and basic internet usage. Introduce students to coding and programming concepts using age-appropriate platforms (e.g., Scratch, Blockly). Conduct classes using smart boards, digital tools, and interactive learning software. Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments aligned with curriculum standards. Encourage safe and responsible use of technology among students. Manage and maintain computer lab equipment and coordinate with IT staff as needed. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate technology into classroom projects. Participate in school events, training programs, and staff development initiatives. Qualifications And Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science / IT / BCA or a related field. B.Ed. (preferred but not mandatory for primary level). Minimum 13 years of teaching experience in a school environment. Proficiency in using educational software, digital platforms, and basic programming tools. Good communication skills in English. Passion for teaching and engaging young learners in technology.
