Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex data annotation projects and human-in-the-loop workflows. The ideal candidate will orchestrate cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, and ensure the delivery of high-quality annotated datasets that meet strict accuracy and timeline requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Execution

- Manage end-to-end data annotation projects from initiation to delivery, including dataset preparation, annotation guidelines development, quality assurance, and final delivery
- Coordinate human-in-the-loop workflows, ensuring seamless integration between AI systems and human annotators- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies- Monitor project progress and proactively identify and mitigate risks and bottlenecks- Ensure adherence to data privacy, security protocols, and compliance requirements

Team Management & Coordination

- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams including data annotators, quality assurance specialists, and technical staff
- Manage annotator workloads and performance, providing coaching and feedback to optimize productivity and accuracy- Facilitate communication between technical teams, annotators, and stakeholders- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews- Foster a collaborative and quality-focused team culture

Client Relationship Management

- Serve as primary point of contact for assigned client accounts
- Understand client requirements and translate them into actionable project specifications- Conduct regular client check-ins and progress updates- Manage client expectations and handle escalations professionally- Identify opportunities for project expansion and additional services

Quality Assurance & Process Improvement

- Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure annotation accuracy and consistency
- Develop and refine standard operating procedures for annotation workflows- Analyze project metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality

Required Qualifications

Experience & Education

- Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in data services, AI/ML, BPO/KPO or technology sectors
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field- Experience with data annotation projects, machine learning datasets, or AI training data is an advantage- Knowledge of annotation tools and platforms (Label Studio, Supervisely, V7, or similar)

Core Competencies

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Strong people management and leadership skills with experience managing teams of 50+ members- Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget- Experience with project management methodologies- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Technical Skills

- Proficiency in any project management tools (Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or similar)
- Understanding of machine learning concepts and data requirements- Familiarity with data formats (JSON, XML, CSV) and annotation schemas- Basic understanding of computer vision, NLP, or other AI domains is an advantage- Experience with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) preferred
