Project Manager - Automation Testing

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Associate Project Manager (APM) with a strong background in Test Automation using Selenium and Playwright.
• The ideal candidate will support the planning, coordination and delivery of automation testing projects, ensuring high-quality software releases.
• You will work closely with QA engineers, developers, and stakeholders to drive test strategy, track progress, and ensure on-time project execution.
  

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage day-to-day activities related to automation testing projects.
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to define automation scope, priorities, and schedules.
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of automation frameworks using Selenium and Playwright.
• Monitor and report on test progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• Ensure proper documentation of test plans, test cases, and execution results.
• Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) efforts for automated testing.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of Agile teams.
• Ensure timely identification, escalation, and resolution of project risks and bottlenecks.
• Assist in resource planning, effort estimation, and task allocation within the QA automation team.
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Test Automation expert.
• Strong expertise in selenium/Playwright MCP .
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices.
• Proficient in programming/scripting languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  

Essential Skills

• Experience managing or coordinating QA teams in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms and tools.
• Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
