Outreach Manager

The Outreach & Program Manager of the IITM CDOT Samgnya Technologies Foundation will be responsible for developing and executing outreach strategies aimed at increasing the visibility of T-Hub. This role involves overseeing the planning, delivery, and evaluation of quantum communication programs aligned with strategic goals. The Manager will also serve as the primary liaison for community, academic, and industry partnerships, fostering long-term collaborations. Outreach & Community Engagement: Develop and implement a strategic outreach plan targeting quantum communication stakeholders, which includes organising workshops, seminars, and public events. Manage T-Hub events (both on-campus and virtual) by coordinating logistics, content, and promotion to maximise attendance and engagement. Cultivate partnerships with academic institutions, industry, government, and community groups to support T-Hub activities and resource mobilisation. Create outreach materials, presentations, and digital communications (such as social media posts and newsletters) to highlight the impact and opportunities of the program. Program Management: Program Planning: Define program objectives, milestones, and success metrics for various T-Hub initiatives focused on quantum communication research and commercialisation. Budget Oversight: Manage program budgets and resource allocations, tracking expenditures to ensure compliance with funding requirements. Implementation & Monitoring: Coordinate cross-functional teams, establish timelines, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery of program outcomes. Evaluation & Reporting: Set key performance indicators (KPIs), collect data on program performance, and prepare detailed reports for senior leadership and funding bodies. Qualifications: Educational Background: A Master’s degree or higher in Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: A minimum of 5 years in outreach, community engagement, Media, or program management within technology or research institutions. Budget Management: Demonstrated experience in managing multi-source program budgets and resource planning. Skills & Competencies: Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop long-term outreach and program strategies that align with organisational goals. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for public speaking and content development. Relationship Building: Strong networking skills and a collaborative mindset to engage diverse stakeholders. Project Management: Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies to effectively plan, execute, and monitor programs.
