About This Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Commercial Loan Servicing Representative.

In This Role, You Will

  • Provide training and guidance to less experienced Commercial Loan Servicing representatives in interpreting and understanding complex policies as well as managing cross group projects
  • Research, respond to and resolve complex inquiries
  • Train others on complex loan agency inquiries and servicing language in loan documentation and interpretation, as well as an understanding of financial services and customer support
  • Coordinate and reconcile all loan advances and payments with member banks and customers and books letters of credit
  • Support loan trading and assignments
  • Prioritize work and provide day to day work leadership and mentorship to the support team
  • Lead or contribute to customer issue resolutions that require coordination amongst various teams
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with internal customers
  • Receive direction from leaders
  • Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of Commercial Loan Servicing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Extensive understanding of CMS loan documentsPossess thorough understanding of the CREFC guidelines and regulationsIn-depth understanding of CMS business cycleHave regular calls with all line of business; understand and articulate to the requirement from the stake holders for the smooth course of the processesIdentify risks and suggest robust control plansStrong process knowledge to resolve process related questions and issues from the team and reduce the queries going to the LOB.Generate systems queries of Loan Information, as when required/requestedComplete tasks that require the review of reports, system data, loan documentation, and other collateral or loan related informationPerform quality reviewer roles and responsibilities for multiple sub processesGood problem solving and analytical skillsTake a lead role in developing and implementing best practices.Exhibits detail-oriented skillsAnalyze complex data and make decision for final reconciliationAbility to communicate well with US counterparts and build relationship with business Partners.Able to conduct process trainings followed by coaching and mentoring trainees

Job Expectations

Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) is a process which involves in creating Lien on the properties. UCC filings are effective for every five years and filings are renewed until the maturity of the loan to sustain the lien on fixture and filings. Wells Fargo provides only the servicing of the loans from funding until loan payoff. UCC is nothing but, "Taking lien on fixtures & Filings" - There is always 1st lien by Wells Fargo. UCC team Verify UCC documents for the collateral and upload the information into the applications.University degree in Business or related disciplineExperience of 5+ years in commercial mortgage loan servicingExcellent communication - verbal and writtenWorking knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word MS AccessAbility to accurately process high volumes of work within established deadlinesAbility to adapt to changeFlexibility towards work on different processes/assignmentsWorking with teams and be an active participantExhibits a commitment to the companyAbility to set priorities, plan and organize workDemonstrates/maintains professional conduct under all circumstances Ability to conduct process trainings as when requiredAbility to work independently and generate MIS reports for the processTakes ownership for the responsibilitiesMotivates oneself and the team in achieving team goalsWorking from office all the business days
