Description
Sales Strategy & Growth:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for SMS wholesale services in international markets.
• Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships, including international carriers, MVNOs, aggregators, and enterprise clients.
• Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the telecom industry, including network operators and key decision-makers.
• Manage the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure.
Client Management & Relationship Building:
• Act as the primary point of contact for international clients and partners, ensuring effective communication and satisfaction.
• Monitor client usage, manage expectations, and optimize the customer experience to maintain long-term business relationships.
• Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling SMS-related services.
Market Analysis & Reporting:
• Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to identify new opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
• Provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance, pipeline status, market trends, and key account developments.
• Monitor industry developments related to SMS, messaging technologies (A2P, P2P, RCS, etc.), and regulatory changes impacting the wholesale SMS business.
Pricing & Contract Negotiations:
• Develop competitive pricing models for SMS services tailored to specific regions, market demands, and customer requirements.
• Lead contract negotiations with international clients, ensuring that all terms align with company policies and business objectives.
Collaboration:
• Work closely with the technical, operations, and customer service teams to ensure smooth delivery of SMS services to clients.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials and campaigns that enhance customer acquisition and retention.
• Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and forums to expand the company's network and represent the company in international markets.
Experience
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in telecom sales, with a strong focus on wholesale SMS, A2P messaging, or related messaging services.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key accounts in thetelecom or wholesale messaging sector.
• Experience in international sales, with a good understanding of regional telecommarkets, regulations, and competitive landscapes.
• Knowledge of SMS gateways, routing technologies, and messaging platforms (e.g., SMPP, HTTP, etc.).
Key Qualification
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business,
Telecommunications, or a related field.
A master’s degree or relevant industry certifications is a plus. Experience:
