Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Developer with 4-5 years of experience in database development, reporting, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining SQL queries, stored procedures, and reports to support business operations, regulatory compliance, and management decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • SQL Development : Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions for data extraction, reporting, and analysis.
  • Business Reporting : Develop and maintain business and regulatory reports including customer loan details, repayment schedules, outstanding reports, EMI and payment analysis, and other critical MIS.
  • Data Migration and Validation : Support data migration initiatives, ensuring high data integrity, and perform reconciliation activities between source and target systems.
  • Automation of Data Processes : Build automation scripts and triggers to streamline recurring database operations and reporting tasks.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and MIS departments to gather reporting requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions.
  • Data Quality and Documentation : Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data; maintain proper documentation for queries, processes, and reporting logic.

Required Skills And Experience

  • 4-5 years of strong SQL development experience, with expertise in query writing, optimization, and database management.
  • Solid experience working with relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
  • Strong skills in stored procedures, triggers, packages, and performance tuning.
  • Hands-on experience in preparing management reports, regulatory reports, and handling large datasets.
  • Familiarity with automation techniques for recurring reporting tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to data validation and reconciliation.
  • Good communication skills for working with technical and business teams.
