Role Summary

We are looking for a proactive, empathetic, and highly organized Human Resource Manager to build and manage our people function. You will oversee end-to-end HR operations: recruitment, training, compliance, performance management, employee engagement, and building a strong employer brand. You will play a pivotal role in scaling a mission-driven and hospitality-oriented team culture.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Design and execute hiring plans for chefs, nutritionists, delivery staff, kitchen crew, and administrative roles.
  • Source high-caliber talent from hospitality institutes, HR agencies, or internal referrals.
  • Design smooth onboarding and training processes tailored for culinary and wellness teams.

2. HR Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain HR documentation, contracts, and ensure legal compliance (PF, ESIC, gratuity, etc.).
  • Set up clear SOPs for attendance, leave, and payroll in collaboration with finance.
  • Implement HRMS tools or digital systems for efficiency and scalability.

3. Performance & Culture

  • Define KPIs, evaluation cycles, and feedback loops for all roles.
  • Support managers in goal-setting, performance tracking, and conflict resolution.
  • Promote a respectful, wellness-oriented, and inclusive workplace culture.

4. Learning & Development

  • Organize training modules on hygiene, nutrition awareness, service etiquette, and customer handling.
  • Facilitate team-building exercises, chef demo days, or cross-functional workshops.
  • Encourage growth plans for team members and identify internal promotion opportunities.

5. Employee Engagement & Retention

  • Lead initiatives to improve morale, team bonding, and employee satisfaction.
  • Handle grievances sensitively, with quick and discreet resolution.
  • Design incentive programs and recognition systems aligned with company values.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in the F&B, wellness, or hospitality sector.
  • Strong understanding of compliance, labor law, and HR operations in India.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Experience managing diverse teams (chefs, service staff, corporate) in a fast-moving environment.
  • Bachelor’s in HR or related field (MBA preferred).

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to build the HR function in a growing luxury food startup.
  • Energetic, mission-driven environment with access to celebrity wellness spaces.
  • A respectful and collaborative workplace that values initiative and people-first thinking.
  • Competitive salary with performance bonuses and long-term career growth.
