Role Summary

This role oversees IT infrastructure, cyber security and innovation, ensuring alignment with business goals. It involves managing resources, fostering collaboration, and safeguarding data, enabling operational excellence and digital transformation. Provide visionary leadership, guide technology strategies, and ensure technology drives the organization's growth and competitive edge. The role requires minimal travel for business purposes.

Job Responsibilities

  • IT Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the company’s business goals and supports its growth in the manufacturing sector.
  • Identify emerging technologies and trends to drive innovation and improve operational processes.
  • Infrastructure Management:

  • Oversee the organization’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Manage the deployment and maintenance of IT systems to support business operations and improve efficiency.
  • Cybersecurity and Compliance:

  • Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data and systems from threats.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards concerning data protection and information security.
  • Vendor Management:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage service-level agreements (SLAs) to ensure the delivery of quality services.
  • Support and Training:

  • Lead the IT support team to provide timely and effective technical support to all team members.
  • Develop training programs to enhance staff proficiency in IT systems and tools.
  • Data Management:

  • Implement data management practices that ensure the integrity and availability of data across the organization.
  • Project Management:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects within budget and timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of technology solutions into business operations.
  • Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources to meet organizational needs.
  • Monitor IT expenditures and optimize costs while ensuring high service quality.
  • Team Management:

  • Effectively lead and manage the IT team to ensure high performance and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and resources to address the organization's technology needs, resolve challenges efficiently, and drive continuous improvement in IT operations.

Job Requirements

Educational Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 15 to 20+ years of experience in IT leadership roles with a track record of successful technology strategy execution
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance and security best practices
