Job Title: Senior Manager – Fire Fighting

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, install, and maintain comprehensive fire protection systems (hydrants, sprinklers, alarms, extinguishers, suppression systems, etc.) across mining and plant facilities.
• Supervise routine inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance of all fire safety infrastructure.
• Identify fire hazards and mitigate risks through engineering and administrative controls.
• Develop and execute site-specific emergency response and evacuation plans.
• Conduct periodic fire and emergency drills in collaboration with all departments.
• Build, train, and lead a site emergency response team.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable fire safety and industrial safety laws, including DGMS, Factory Act, Explosive Act, and National Building Code (NBC).
• Maintain all necessary documentation for safety audits, legal inspections, and regulatory permits.
• Coordinate with local authorities, fire departments, and safety regulators.
• Lead a team of fire officers and support staff to implement safety protocols.
• Conduct fire safety training and awareness programs for on-site personnel.
• Investigate any fire incidents and develop preventive strategies.
• Collaborate with safety, security, and administrative teams during emergencies.
• Submit reports and root cause analyses to senior management.

Candidate Profile:

• Graduate in any discipline
• Diploma/Certificate in Fire & Industrial Safety from a recognized institution (e.g., NFSC, State Fire Academy, or equivalent)
• 10–15 years of industrial fire safety experience
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role within

  mining, chemical, process, oil & gas, or heavy industry

• Sound knowledge of fire safety systems, emergency planning, and regulatory compliance in high-risk operations
