Job Description- Bid Management HeadRole description Role title- Bid Management Head Bid Management Head is responsible for overseeing the entire bid management process, ensuring efficient and timely submission of high-quality bids. This role requires strategic leadership in coordinating with cross-functional teams, optimizing bid processes, and driving adherence to organizational goals. The Bid Management Head will lead the bid management team and work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver winning proposals and support business growthWorking with (Reporting Relationship)India Sales HeadWhat the role entails(Key Responsibilities) Leadership and Team Management:Lead and manage the Bid Management team, providing guidance, mentoring, and training to junior staff members.Oversee the allocation of responsibilities across the team, ensuring that all bid submissions are well-resourced and completed within deadlines.Bid Strategy and Planning:Develop and implement effective bid strategies that align with the company’s business objectives and growth targets.Analyse Pre-Qualification (PQ) documents to assess eligibility and identify key requirements and potential challenges early in the process.Coordinate with sales, technical, legal, delivery and finance teams to ensure an accurate understanding of the tender requirements and to prepare competitive and compelling bids.Bid Process Oversight:Take full responsibility for the end-to-end bid process, including reviewing RFPs, RFQs, and other tender documentation, and ensuring compliance with client requirements.Ensure the team follows best practices in bid preparation, including a thorough review process, to produce high-quality responses.Stakeholder Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Legal, Finance and Technical teams) to ensure smooth coordination throughout the bid process.Liaise with external stakeholders such as vendors, OEMs partners, and clients when required. Bid Content and Proposal Quality:Review and approve the content of proposals to ensure they are aligned with the bid strategy, addressing client needs effectively, and showcasing the company’s strengths.Ensure the submission of error-free, well-structured, and professionally written proposals that comply with all technical and commercial requirements.Bid Documentation and Record Keeping:Ensure proper documentation and storage of all bid-related materials, including tender documents, price sheets, and approval records for audit and reporting purposes.Maintain a centralized repository of all bid documents and related materials for easy access and future reference.Process Improvement:Continuously assess and improve bid management processes to enhance efficiency, reduce turnaround times, and increase bid success rates.Reporting and Tracking:Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of bids and key milestones.What we are looking for in you(Skills, Knowledge, Special Attributes, Mobility)Prior experience in Bid management & Contract ManagementB.Tech/B.EGood with MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, etc)Location- GurgaonExperience & educationBE/ B Tech ; Experience : more than 15 years Mandatory - Should have experience in Government Liaison and Government tendering . Industry- EPC, Hardware(IT)
