Job Description

Job Title: Finance and Accounting Manager – Business Finance & Corporate Accounting

Location: Mumbai

Job Type: Full-Time


Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance and Accounting Manager to oversee the financial operations of our business finance and corporate accounting functions. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, providing strategic insights, and driving financial planning and analysis to support the company’s growth and profitability.


Key Responsibilities: Business Finance:

 Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

o Lead the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial planning. o Analyze financial performance against budget and forecasts, and provide variance analysis. o Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and support decision making.

 Revenue & Cost Management: o Monitor and analyze revenue trends, costs, and profitability metrics.

o Collaborate with operational teams to identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.

 Business Case Development:

o Support the preparation of business cases for new investments, products, or projects.

o Evaluate financial implications and risks associated with strategic initiatives. Corporate Accounting:  Financial Reporting:

o Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes.

o Prepare consolidated financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.

 General Ledger Management:

o Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.

o Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.  Audit & Compliance:

o Coordinate with external auditors for the annual audit and ensure timely completion. o Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and tax regulations. Treasury & Cash Management:

o Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and liquidity planning.

o Oversee the management of working capital, including accounts receivable and payable.


Qualifications:

 Education: o Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or CA preferred

 Experience: o Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, with a focus on business finance and corporate accounting. o Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.

 Technical Skills:

o Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis. o Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and corporate finance principles

. o Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial software (e.g., Excel, QuickBooks).  Soft Skills:

o Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

o Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross functionally.

o High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
