Position Title: Manager – Regional Product Development (Jewellery) Location:Chennai, Tamil NaduExperience Required:10–15 years (preferably within the jewellery industry) About the RoleWe are looking for a Manager – Regional Product Development to lead the creation of culturally resonant and commercially successful jewellery collections tailored to the Tamil Nadu market. This is an individual contributor role suited for a passionate professional with deep knowledge of Tamil traditions, heritage, and customer preferences.The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the regional assortment strategy and collaborating closely with the Circle Head to design collections that reflect the cultural richness of Tamil Nadu.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development of region-specific jewellery collections aligned with the cultural and market dynamics of Tamil Nadu.Translate deep cultural insights into innovative product designs, seasonal collections, and festival assortments.Partner with internal teams (design, merchandising, sourcing) and external vendors to create and deliver high-performing collections.Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor offerings to continuously refine product strategy.Manage the full product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and cost-efficiency.Coordinate with sourcing and merchandising teams to ensure seamless execution and on-time delivery.Represent the voice of the Tamil Nadu consumer in cross-regional product development and strategic planning forums.Key Requirements10–15 years of experience in product development, sourcing, or merchandising—preferably within the jewellery sector.In-depth understanding of Tamil culture, traditions, festivals, and consumer behavior.Proficiency in Tamil (spoken and written) is mandatory.Strong aesthetic sensibility and a passion for heritage-inspired design.Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive cross-functional collaboration.Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.Reporting To:Circle Head – Tamil NaduRole Type:Individual Contributor
