Overview
Summary
We are looking for a Production Support Developer who will provide enterprise-level
assistance to our end users. You will provide L2/L3 support and troubleshoot, resolve and
enhance the product to allow for business as usual. The role also involves writing and
maintaining automation scripts and requires a foundational knowledge of JavaScript for
debugging and enhancing client-side components where needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 support to our end users
- Troubleshoot/identify solutions to existing product issues and resolve these
- Monitor our issue tracking tool, currently Service Now
- Resolve issues raised on the tracking tool and on a priority basis; this may involve code,
data, or configuration fixes
- Maintain relationships with our third-party integration contacts
- Resolve tickets within our Service Level Agreements
- Communicate with stakeholders and keep tickets updated with the latest statuses
- Enhance existing features suggested by end users and approved by product
- Document bug resolutions and keep documentation up to date
- Write and maintain automation scripts to streamline support and deployment processes
- Assist in debugging or enhancing client-side behavior using basic JavaScript knowledge
Skills/Experience
- 7+ years of experience in web programming and software development
- Hands-on experience in:
o Data Structures and data modelling
o Object-Oriented Programming
o Software Architectures such as SOA, REST, JSON APIs, Microservices
- Experience in developing web applications and user interfaces using:
o ASP.NET Core (C#)
o Entity Framework, ADO.NET, or T-SQL
o Web API & JSON services
- Working knowledge of UI frameworks and JavaScript is a must:
o Preferably Vue.js and JQuery
o Angular or React experience also accepted
- Should have testing knowledge and experience in writing unit test cases
- Experience working with relational databases such as SQL and non-relational databases
such as Cosmos DB
- Experience with Azure services is a plus but not required
