Location: Hyderabad Department: Customer Success & Delivery Reports To: SVP Customer Success We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to serve as the Delivery Manager in a player-coach role. This individual will be responsible for leading a team of software professionals while actively participating in client engagements and project delivery. The ideal candidate will combine strategic leadership with hands-on Project Management expertise to ensure the successful implementation of Artificial Intelligence software solutions that meet client needs. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Development: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Software Engineers, Quality Engineers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers. Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture, focusing on professional development and continuous learning. Set clear performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations. Client Engagement & Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns. Work closely with sales teams to understand client requirements and propose solutions leveraging Vassar Digital’s Connected Enterprise solution. Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to drive repeat business and referrals. Project Delivery: Ensure successful client implementations with a focus on achieving client business goals and referenceable clients. Actively participate in the management of complex software implementation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Oversee the execution of multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring high-quality outcomes. Ensure project management methodologies and best practices are followed across all engagements. Strategic Planning & Process Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Delivery department. Collaborate with other Sales and Engineering to align services with overall company goals. Continuously assess and improve project management methodologies, tools, and processes. Hands-On Project Management: Take an active role in managing key client projects, including project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Lead project kickoff meetings, define project scope, and establish timelines and deliverables. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track. Perform the Scrum Master role for the project scrum team. Technical Leadership: Participate in or lead software architecture design and other technical tasks as needed. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to provide cutting-edge solutions to clients. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide guidance to the team. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred. Experience: 10+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within software or IT services. Proven experience delivering large-scale software implementation projects and leading professional services teams. Strong background in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices. Experience with Agile development and Scaled Agile Framework. Background in software development preferred.
