We are now looking for a Data Engineer in the Noida Area (hybrid work)

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of data solutions, including pipelines, transformations, and data management systems.
• Demonstrate expertise in abstract development frameworks to create scalable and efficient solutions.
• Ensure accountability for project deliverables, adhering to timelines and quality standards.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring team members, and ensuring alignment with best practices.
• Communicate project status effectively, identifying and escalating issues when necessary.
• Drive the design and implementation of robust data architectures to meet client needs.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate functional requirements into technical designs.
• Optimize ETL processes and ensure data reliability, performance, and scalability.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or equivalent experience/education.
• Proven track record of technical leadership in large-scale data engineering projects.
• Expertise in building and optimizing data pipelines and transformations.
• Experience with code reviews, unit testing, performance testing, and load testing.
• Strong knowledge of Python, complex SQL, and cloud data platforms (Azure Synapse Spark).
• Experience with Parquet & Delta file formats and ETL optimizations.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices for data engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for code management and deployment.
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and ensure metadata-driven frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and support.
• Experience in production support, Tier 2 consulting, and translating functional needs into technical designs.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with Agile planning, work breakdown structures, and task estimation.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
