Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer with proven experience in Data Vault 2.0, dbt (data build tool), and Snowflake to design, build, and optimize our enterprise data pipelines and data architecture. This role will focus on implementing scalable, auditable, and modular data models that support business intelligence, advanced analytics, and data governance initiatives. The ideal candidate is passionate about modern data engineering practices and enabling trusted data products in a cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement data pipelines and data models using Data Vault 2.0 methodology in Snowflake.
Build and maintain modular dbt models to transform raw data into curated layers (Raw Vault, Business Vault, Information Marts).
Develop scalable, secure, and performant ELT/ETL solutions using tools like dbt, Fivetran, and/or custom Python code.
Automate data integration workflows and implement CI/CD practices for data pipelines using dbt Cloud or similar tools.
Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and domain experts to translate business needs into effective data models and pipelines.
Ensure high data quality, lineage, and traceability using metadata and documentation best practices.
Participate in data platform modernization efforts, including migration and optimization within Snowflake.
Monitor and optimize the performance of data transformations and Snowflake compute/storage resources.
Adhere to data governance standards, including security, access controls, and regulatory compliance.
