Data Analyst

Role Overview

As a Data Analyst at Veefly, you'll support cross-functional teams with data-driven insights. You'll be responsible for writing SQL queries, building dashboards, conducting ad hoc analysis, and assisting with performance tracking of our self-serve ad platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write SQL queries to extract and analyze product, marketing, and campaign data.
• Build reports and dashboards to track KPIs across user behavior, retention, and revenue.
• Assist in evaluating campaign effectiveness and customer cohorts.
• Collaborate with product managers and marketers to support ongoing experiments and feature launches.
• Document recurring analyses and automate key reporting tasks.
• Highlight trends, anomalies, and opportunities for growth or optimization.

What we're looking for

• 1–2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a similar role.
• Strong SQL skills: able to join, filter, aggregate, and troubleshoot queries independently.
• Good understanding of Excel/Google Sheets for quick analyses.
• Analytical thinking and curiosity: you enjoy asking “why” and digging into data.
• Clear written and verbal communication: especially in documenting insights.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or related field.

Nice to have (Bonus Points)

• Familiarity with Metabase or similar BI tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau).
• Basic understanding of SaaS or ad-tech metrics (CTR, CAC, LTV, funnel conversion).
• Prior experience in a startup or product-driven company.
