Business Intelligence (BI) Developer

Location : Hyderabad, India

Experience : Minimum 6 years

Work Mode : Hybrid

Notice Period : 0-15 days

Interview Process : 2 Rounds (1 Virtual, 1 In-Person)

Job Summary

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Business Intelligence (BI) Developer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in

data analytics

and

reporting

, demonstrating deep expertise in

Power BI

,

DAX queries

, and

Looker

. This pivotal role involves transforming complex data into actionable insights, directly supporting strategic business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain impactful interactive dashboards and reports utilizing Power BI and Looker.
  • Write and optimize advanced DAX queries to support intricate business logic and calculations.
  • Collaborate effectively with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to comprehend reporting requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
  • Ensure the highest standards of data accuracy, consistency, and performance across all BI solutions.
  • Conduct thorough data analysis and validation to support diverse business initiatives.
  • Automate and streamline reporting processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Stay current with the latest BI tools, industry trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in BI development and data analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI, including extensive experience with DAX and Power Query.
  • Hands-on experience with Looker and LookML.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and SQL.
  • Proven ability to work with large datasets and optimize performance for complex queries.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in leading cloud environments (e.g., Azure, GCP, AWS).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of other BI tools or programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a significant plus.
