Position Overview

Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage strong relationships with Indian study abroad agents who work with onshore students in Australia.
• Identify, qualify, and generate leads of students in Australia planning to shift institutions.
• Coordinate with the global admissions team and the onshore Australia team to ensure smooth processing of applications.
• Promote and counsel agents on available partner institutions, eligibility criteria, and course options.
• Stay updated on Australian education regulations, visa conditions (including transfer policies), and provider guidelines.
• Track leads, maintain daily follow-ups, and provide regular reports on agent engagement and application outcomes.
• Support marketing and promotional activities focused on onshore student recruitment.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in education consultancy, student recruitment, or business development in the international education domain.
• Familiarity with the Australian education system and onshore student processes (COE transfers, GTE requirements, etc.).
• Strong network of agents and consultants working with Australian-bound students.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using basic CRM tools and reporting formats.
