Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Intern to join our remote team. This is a client-facing role focused on outbound engagement, supporting lead generation and pipeline development via LinkedIn, email, and WhatsApp (no cold calling). The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of B2B sales and CRM systems, along with strong communication skills and an eagerness to grow within a fast-paced, global tech environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound outreach to prospective clients via LinkedIn, email, and WhatsApp
  • Personalize messaging and manage prospect pipelines using Apollo.io and Zoho CRM
  • Assist in lead research, segmentation, and qualification to support sales initiatives
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, track engagement status, and prepare performance reports
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership to continuously refine messaging and outreach strategies
  • Follow up with leads to schedule introductory meetings and support initial sales conversations
  • Stay informed on industry trends and the Evangelist Apps service offering to communicate value effectively

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology (B.Tech), Business Administration (BBA), or MBA
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation (internship/project-based acceptable)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional tone
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and outreach tools, particularly Apollo.io and Zoho CRM
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting with high accountability and organization
  • Foundational understanding of sales pipelines, client segmentation, and B2B sales processes
  • Comfortable managing outreach workflows—without cold calling

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to SaaS or software services sales
  • Experience with tools such as Smartlead, Clay, Hunter.io, or other sales automation platforms
  • Interest in enterprise technology, AI tools, and digital transformation
