Join a fast-growing Kolkata-based fintech startup revolutionizing trading tech. We're building an ultra-efficient, AI-powered desktop trading platform for professional traders and prop desks. As a Backend Developer, you'll help design and scale the core infrastructure that powers real-time trading, intelligent analytics, and secure financial operations.

What You’ll Build & Own

• Async Python backends for real-time trade execution and multi-broker API integration (e.g., Zerodha, Upstox etc)
• C++ modules for latency-critical components with advanced memory and performance optimization
• WebSocket infrastructure for high-speed data streaming and live client communication
• Encrypted data storage using SQLite (SQLCipher) and PostgreSQL
• Authentication & authorization layers, with secure cloud-based login systems (JWT, OAuth2)
• AI integration layers for news feeds, signal processing, and voice-over generation

Tech Stack & Best Practices

• Languages: Python, C++, JavaScript, Rust
• Databases: PostgreSQL, SQLite (SQLCipher)
• Cloud Platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure (bonus)
• Security: JWT, OAuth2, HTTPS, encryption standards
• DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
• Tools: Git, async I/O debugging, SQL profiling
• Scalability: Redis, Kafka, distributed systems, load balancing, caching strategies
• Development Practices: Code reviews, unit/integration testing, documentation, system design discussions

Who We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years experience in backend or full-stack development (exceptional freshers with solid portfolios welcome)
• Proficient in Python, C++, system architecture, and API development
• Strong foundation in security best practices and scalable backend infrastructure
• Enthusiastic about fintech, algorithmic trading, and building high-performance software
• Detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to grow in a fast-paced team environment
