Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Software Engineer located in the Greater Kolkata Area. We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer with expertise in NestJS or Python to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications using NestJS (TypeScript) or Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask).
• Architect scalable, secure, and efficient microservices-based systems.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Implement RESTful APIs to support frontend applications.
• Optimize database performance, including schema design and query optimization (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
• Ensure application security, authentication, and authorization best practices (OAuth, JWT, RBAC, etc.).
• Conduct thorough code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, frameworks, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Expertise in NestJS (TypeScript) or Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask).
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Solid understanding of system security, authentication, and authorization.
• Proficiency with testing frameworks (Jest, PyTest, etc.) and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in an agile environment.
