Job Overview:


Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership & Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and guide a team of Senior Accountants, ensuring their professional development and alignment with company goals.
  • Set clear performance expectations, monitor progress, and provide feedback to the team to achieve high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, encourage knowledge-sharing, and support the team in resolving complex financial issues.

2. Strategic Financial Oversight:

  • Take ownership of the organization's financial strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance financial reporting systems, controls, and processes for better operational efficiency.

3. Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  • Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss reports, and cash flow analysis, ensuring compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
  • Present financial insights to senior leadership, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial health and suggest corrective actions as necessary.

4. Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure all statutory and regulatory requirements are met, including tax filings and audits.
  • Lead both internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with corporate governance and industry regulations.
  • Mitigate financial risks by maintaining robust internal controls and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.

5. Process Improvement & Innovation:

  • Continuously evaluate existing financial processes and implement improvements to increase operational efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial workflows and improve the overall efficiency of the department.

6. Stakeholder Management:

  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Support senior leadership in budget preparation, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.


Qualifications & Skills:

CA / ACCA

·  3-4 years of experience managing a team of Senior Accountants.

·  Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).

·  Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team.

·  Proficient in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).

·  Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
