Job Summary:
MBAROI.in is seeking a proactive and dynamic Admissions Counsellor to manage the entire admissions process, from lead generation to final enrollment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for counseling prospective students, handling inquiries, following up on applications, and ensuring a smooth admission process. This role requires strong communication skills, sales acumen, and the ability to guide students in making informed career decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Cold Calling: Conduct cold calling to generate new leads from databases, referrals, and inquiries. Follow up on leads via phone calls, emails, and WhatsApp to nurture interest in the programs. Maintain a pipeline of prospective students and ensure timely follow-ups.
Student Counseling & Guidance: Understand students' educational backgrounds, career aspirations, and suitability for the PGDM program. Provide detailed information about course offerings, admission criteria, fee structures, and career opportunities. Address student and parent queries regarding academic and career benefits of the program.
Application & Admission Process Management: Assist students in completing the application form and gathering necessary documents. Follow up with applicants to ensure submission of required documents. Coordinate with the admissions team to evaluate applications and schedule interviews. Ensure smooth onboarding of admitted students by guiding them through the final enrollment process.
Relationship Management & Conversion: Maintain strong relationships with potential applicants to maximize conversion rates. Engage with students through virtual counseling sessions, campus visits, and webinars. Provide post-admission support to ensure a smooth transition into the academic program.
Reporting & Coordination: Maintain accurate records of inquiries, applications, and conversions. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on lead status and admissions progress. Collaborate with the marketing and academic teams to enhance outreach and student engagement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in any discipline.
1-5 years of experience in relevant edu tech sales, admissions counseling, sales, or customer relationship management.
Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
Excellent persuasion and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented approach.
