3D CAD Designer

Location: BANGALORE Job Type: FULL TIME Department: ENGINEERING DESIGN Reports To: ENGINEERING HEAD Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented 3D CAD Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and technical drawings to support product development, manufacturing, or construction processes. You will work closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure design accuracy and project efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Develop 3D models using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, Siemens NX, Fusion 360, Revit, etc.). Create 2D technical drawings and detailed specifications for manufacturing or construction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate conceptual designs into manufacturable solutions. Review and modify existing designs to improve functionality, manufacturability, or cost-efficiency. Conduct tolerance analysis and ensure compliance with industry standards and company guidelines. Manage revisions and maintain design documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Support prototyping and testing activities with accurate models and documentation. Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Architecture, or a related field. Proven experience in 3D CAD modeling and drafting (typically 2+ years). Proficiency in CAD software such as [insert relevant tools]. Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacturability (DFM). Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with simulation tools (FEA/CFD) or PDM systems is a plus. Industry-specific experience (automotive, aerospace, consumer products, construction, etc.).
