• Company: Moris Media • Location: Remotely • Job Type: Full-time Moris Media is on the hunt for a seasoned UI/UX Designer to help transform our software into user-friendly products. This position involves working closely with product managers and engineers to create an intuitive, efficient, and enjoyable user experience for our website and upcoming products. Responsibilities: • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers. • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps. • Design graphic user interface elements such as menus, tabs, and widgets. • Build page navigation buttons and search fields. • Develop UI mockups and prototypes to clearly illustrate site functionality and appearance. • Create original graphic designs (e.g., images, sketches, tables). • Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders. • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness). • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback. • Adhere to style standards for fonts, colors, and images. Skills: • Knowledge in typography, iconography, layout, responsive design, and other UI design areas. • Experience building user interfaces for websites, mobile apps, and other visual formats. • Ability to create product wireframes and prototypes. • Familiarity with graphic design tools, programming languages, and other UI design technologies. • Strong communication and teamwork skills. • Empathy for users, particularly in designing inclusive and accessible experiences. • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven insights. • Mastery of prototyping tools like Adobe XD, Figma, and Sketch. • Familiarity with code editors like Bluefish, TextMate, and Brackets. • Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Squarespace, and Magento. • Skilled in visual and graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Gravit Designer, and Pixlr. • Experience with user research tools like UsabilityHub, Hotjar, and Userlytics. Qualifications: • 3-5 years of experience in UX or UI design. • Familiarity with all stages of the product development process. • Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field is a plus. • Proven portfolio of design projects. • BSc in Design, Computer Science, or a relevant field. Mandatory Requisites: • Laptop/desktop with upgraded configurations. • High-speed internet connection. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Flexibility to travel occasionally. • Strong telephonic skills. • Ability to manage tasks and work under pressure. Salary: Negotiable, based on overall profile, experience, personality, and skills. Job Location: Moris Media operates remotely, accommodating employees in diverse geographical time zones.
