Job Title: Software Automation Testing Engineer Location: TechM TMLW Hyderabad Years of Experience: 5 7 Years Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Software Testing Engineer with a strong background in Selenium and Java to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have 5 7 years of experience in software testing, with a proven track record of developing and executing automated test scripts. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing methodologies. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium with Java. Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand software requirements and create comprehensive test plans. Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools. Perform regression testing and ensure that new features do not adversely affect existing functionality. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality. Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Provide status reports and updates to stakeholders on testing progress and results. Mentor junior team members and share best practices in software testing. Mandatory Skills: Strong expertise in Selenium with Java for automated testing. Proficient in test case design, execution, and defect management. Experience with testing frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit. Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Preferred Skills: Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner. Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured. Understanding of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. Experience with other programming languages such as Python or JavaScript. Familiarity with cloud based testing environments. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5 7 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
