Position: Sr. Manager – US Staffing Operations & Compliance Location: Pune (Onsite) Experience: 5 Years – 10 Years Timing: 7pm -4am (Monday – Friday) Role: Experienced and results-driven Senior Manager – US Staffing Operations & Compliance with a proven track record of working in large-scale US recruitment operations from offshore, ensuring end-to-end compliance with federal and state employment regulations, and optimizing workforce processes in the US staffing industry. Skilled in overseeing onboarding/offboarding, contractor management, audit readiness (e.g., I-9, E-Verify, background checks), and vendor relations. Adept at driving process improvements, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence and regulatory adherence. Key Responsibilities: • Background Check: Manage the global background verification process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client-specific and legal standards. Provide guidance and problem-solving support to internal teams as needed. • Hiring & Onboarding: (USA, Canada, India) Direct and oversee hiring activities across all three regions in alignment with local employment laws and organizational needs. Streamline and automate end-to-end processes for onboarding employees and contractors across all geographies, ensuring consistency, compliance, and efficiency in documentation, background checks, system access, and orientation workflows. • Compliance and Client Audits: Ensure all compliance-related documentation and procedures are completed in a timely and accurate manner. Lead the preparation and response to client audits, ensuring transparency and adherence to internal and external standards. • Immigration (Including H1B): Manage end-to-end immigration processes, including H1B filings. Liaise with legal counsel, candidates, and clients to ensure timely and accurate submission of required documents and information. • Contracts and Statements of Work (SOWs): Support contract and SOW finalization in coordination with vendors and internal stakeholders. Negotiate or clarify contractual terms as needed to ensure operational alignment. • Asset Return Management: Track and monitor the return of assets issued to employees and contractors. Coordinate status updates with clients and approve final financial settlements based on confirmation of returns. • Payroll and Rate Structuring: Collaborate with clients to finalize compensation structures and margins. Supervise payroll compliance and coordination processes for employees and contractors across all regions. Engage vendors and candidates in payroll-related matters as necessary. • Process Improvement & Strategic Advisory: Advise senior management on opportunities to streamline HR and Operations processes. Recommend and implement industry best practices across the organization to improve efficiency, compliance, and employee experience. • Data Security: Implement robust data security measures and lead the process of obtaining all required certifications to ensure the organization's compliance with data protection and information security standards.
