Job Description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Sales Enablement team at Mercer. This role will be based in Gurgaon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.


Specialist - Graphic Design


The Global Service Delivery - Sales Enablement function is a center of excellence that supports Mercer across multiple geographies & businesses. Sales Enablement team enables Consultants globally with strategic and bespoke solutions for pre/post sales cycle & marketing processes, increasing Mercer’s chances of winning new business through lead generation, managing commercials, client-focused proposals, strategic research, virtual consulting tool & graphic design support.

The incumbent in this role will collaborate with Bid Center team members to understand project requirements and ensure the final product meets expectations. They will create visually appealing and professional presentation layouts using software like Microsoft PowerPoint, while adhering to brand guidelines for consistency. The role involves utilizing visual storytelling techniques, including graphics and multimedia, to engage the audience effectively. The specialist will review and edit presentations for quality, analyze the target audience to tailor content, and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to enhance clarity. Additionally, they will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met, and stay updated on the latest trends in presentation design and technology to continuously improve their skills.

  • Collaboration with Teams:

    Working closely with other Bid Center team members globally to understand project requirements and ensure the final product meets expectations.
  • Design and Layout:

    Creating visually appealing and professional presentation layouts using software like Microsoft PowerPoint, focusing on aesthetics and clarity.
  • Brand Consistency:

    Ensuring that all presentations adhere to brand guidelines, including color schemes, fonts, logos, and overall style, to maintain a cohesive brand identity.
  • Visual Storytelling:

    Utilizing graphics, charts, images, and multimedia elements to enhance the narrative and engage the audience effectively.
  • Editing and Proofreading:

    Reviewing presentations for design inconsistencies, making necessary suggestions/revisions to ensure high-quality output.
  • Audience Analysis:

    Understanding the target audience to tailor presentations to their needs, preferences, and level of understanding.
  • Feedback Incorporation:

    Gathering feedback from stakeholders and making adjustments to presentations based on input to improve effectiveness and clarity.
  • Project Management:

    Managing multiple presentation projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and communication is maintained with all relevant parties.
  • Staying Updated on Trends:

    Keeping abreast of the latest trends in presentation design and technology to continually enhance skills and improve presentation quality.

What you need to have:

  • College degree in a graphic design, or closely related discipline
  • Proven experience working as a graphic designer – minimum 3-5 years in a corporate consulting or business firm, or in a creative service environment
  • Mandatory proficiency in presentation software such as Microsoft PowerPoint, and other design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Strong understanding of design principles, including layout, typography, color theory, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to create visually appealing and professional presentations that effectively communicate ideas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders, and to understand and convey complex information clearly.
  • Strong proofreading and editing skills to ensure accuracy and consistency in presentations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with various teams, including marketing, sales, and executive leadership.
