Job Summary:

Social Media Executive

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, plan, and execute social media content calendars across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, (Twitter), Pinterest, and YouTube.
  • Collaborate with the design and content teams to create engaging multimedia content (images, reels, stories, infographics, etc.)
  • Schedule and publish posts using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later).
  • Monitor social media channels for trending news, ideas, and feedback.
  • Engage with the online community and respond to comments/messages promptly.
  • Track KPIs and prepare performance reports using platform insights and tools like Google Analytics.
  • Run paid social media campaigns in coordination with the performance marketing team.
  • Research industry trends and competitor strategies to optimize content and engagement.
  • Support in developing influencer marketing strategies and collaborations.
  • Stay updated on platform algorithm changes and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in social media management, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent copywriting, communication, and creative thinking skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (preferred), and social media scheduling tools.
  • Analytical mindset with a strong grasp of metrics and reporting.
