As a Senior Solution Engineer, you are a technical advisor and customer
strategist, engaged across the customer lifecycle—from pre-sales discovery and solution
design to post-sales enablement, implementation oversight, and value realization. You drive
outcomes, build trust, and scale adoption through both strategic and hands-on execution.
● Engage from Day 0: Lead discovery, identify gaps, and co-create value roadmaps.
● Deliver tailored demos, proofs of concept, and technical win strategies.
● Define SoWs and solution architectures that align to customer goals.
● Oversee deployment quality, readiness checks, and performance optimization.
● Act as an advisor during implementation and post-go-live phases.
● Conduct QBRs, MBRs, architecture reviews, and deliver value realization plans.
● Monitor license utilization, usage metrics, and time-to-value KPIs.
● Influence renewals and expansions through strong technical credibility.
● 6+ years in solution engineering or technical architecture roles.
● Mastery of modern data clouds (Snowflake, Databricks, Cloudera).
● Proficient in RBAC/ABAC policy management, masking, tagging, and access control.
● Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes), IaC (Terraform), and SSO
(Okta, Azure AD).
● Exposure to metadata platforms (Atlan, Collibra, Unity).
● Capability to perform health checks, RCA, and platform audits.
● Track record of leading customer success programs and influencing commercial
growth.
● Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP), or data security (CISSP, CIPP).
● Experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, public sector).
● Strong API/scripting knowledge (Python, REST, CLI-based automation).
● Experience mentoring or enabling junior SEs or partner teams.
● Strategic ownership of customer success from qualification to expansion.
● A voice in shaping product evolution and delivery best practices.
● Career path to Principal, Field CTO, or leadership in Customer Engineering.
