Senior Project Manager

Role: Technical Senior Project Manager

Job location: Mumbai (Hybrid)

Experience: 10 to 15 years

Summary: We are seeking a candidate with extensive experience in infrastructure projects, including Cisco ACI; SDN, Rack Stack, Migration, Cloud Deployments, Network Deployments, well versed with Data Centers with banking domain background

Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation to closure

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
• Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Identify and manage project risks and issues
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders
• Manage project scope, change requests, and stakeholder expectations
• Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date
• Manage project resources, including staff, contractors, and vendors
• Ensure project team members are aware of their roles and responsibilities
• Foster a positive team environment and promote teamwork
• The priority is to find a Project Manager with experience in Infrastructure Technology projects.
• Ideal candidates should have handled multi-site (including global) projects, and be well-versed with servers, routers, switches – both hardware and software.
• Should have worked closely with procurement teams and demonstrated strong collaboration skills across various internal stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills are a must.

Practical Experience Should Include:

• Leading and managing IT infrastructure and technology components for customers
• Comprehensive understanding of project management practices and methodologies across technologies and industries
• Strong emphasis on stakeholder management and engagement, with excellent communication skills
• Extensive experience in managing and reporting financials across multiple projects
• Effective communication at the executive level

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, or related field
• PMP certification is a plus
• Minimum 10 years of IT or Network Project Management experience
• Experience in a professional services environment
• Familiarity with managing key project financial components (cost and revenue) to ensure projects are delivered within budget
• Experience managing projects with over 100 sites globally
• Expertise in creating and managing detailed project plans, including variances, baselines, predecessors/successors, and critical path
• Experience managing risks and issues, driving mitigation or resolution, and escalating when necessary
• Experience with 3rd party partner-led deployments as the project manager
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with varied infrastructure technologies
• Proactively drive projects to successful conclusions, balancing scope, time, and resources
• Excellent internal and customer-facing written and verbal communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Banking domain background will be more preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Comfortable with difficult conversations and conflict management
• Role model/mentor for Project Coordinators and Managers
• Flexibility to work across multiple time zones as needed
• 0-15% travel required
