Sr. Manager - R&D

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Product Development:

  Manage the full product lifecycle from conceptualization to commercialization, ensuring high-quality, market-aligned results.

• NPD & Market Alignment:

  Drive New Product Development (NPD) initiatives while ensuring alignment with business goals, customer needs, and market trends.

• PLM & PDM Implementation:

  Implement and manage Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) & Product Data Management (PDM) systems to ensure seamless control over product documentation.

• Benchmarking & Competitive Analysis:

  Conduct benchmarking and competitive analysis to continuously improve product quality and ensure market leadership.

• Simulations & Engineering Analysis:

  Leverage advanced simulations and engineering analysis to validate product performance and reliability.

• GD&T & Precision Design:

  Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure precision and high manufacturing quality standards.

• Material Selection & Heat Treatment:

  Lead the selection of materials and management of heat treatment processes to enhance the durability and performance of our products.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  Work closely with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and sales to ensure smooth product development and timely launches.

• Team Leadership & Mentorship:

  Manage and mentor a high-performing team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

• Compliance & Standards:

  Ensure all product designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality protocols.

• Cost Optimization:

  Identify and implement cost-effective design strategies while maintaining product quality and performance.

• Stay Current with Industry Trends:

  Continuously monitor emerging technologies and trends in agricultural machinery, implementing best practices in R&D.

Key Requirements:

• Education:

  Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or related field.

• Experience:

  Minimum of 8+ years of experience in product design and development, specifically within the agricultural machinery or heavy machinery sectors.

• Technical Skills:

  Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (ANSYS, HyperMesh, etc.).

• PLM & PDM Expertise:

  Strong knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management and Product Data Management tools for efficient product documentation.

• Technical Expertise:

  Hands-on experience with material selection, heat treatment processes, and GD&T principles.

• Leadership & Project Management:

  Proven track record of leading teams, managing projects, and coordinating with stakeholders.

• Problem-Solving Skills:

  Strong analytical skills and ability to resolve complex technical challenges.

• Communication:

  Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry Experience:

  Previous experience in agricultural machinery design & development.

• Certifications:

  Certification in GD&T, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing.

• ISO Knowledge:

  Familiarity with ISO standards, safety regulations, and compliance protocols.
