Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead DevOps strategy, automation, and infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform, with a passion for optimizing cloud-based environments and streamlining engineering workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Oversee containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes
• Deploy and maintain Java-based applications in production
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
• Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams
• Automate routine tasks to enhance productivity
• Optimize cloud usage and reduce infrastructure costs
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards
• Evaluate and integrate DevOps tools to improve delivery and reliability

Required Skills

• Azure (must-have); AWS or GCP (nice-to-have)
• Proficient with Git, Git-based workflows, and command-line tools
• Scripting experience in Bash and PowerShell; YAML proficiency
• Programming in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#
• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Hands-on with Terraform; experience with Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
• CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Basic DBA/database administration
• Familiarity with Azure Boards, Jira, or GitLab Issues
• Experience with Linux environments
• Cloud cost optimization and performance tuning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

• Demonstrated leadership in DevOps strategy and implementation
