Job Summary:


SAP ABAP HR Consultant


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop, test, and deploy ABAP programs and reports specific to SAP HR modules (PA, OM, PT, PY).
  • Work with SAP Functional Consultants and business users to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
  • Enhance or customize infotypes, interfaces, and reports (e.g., using HR logical databases: PNP, PCH).
  • Create and modify SAP HR Forms (HRFORMS, SAP SmartForms) and Adobe forms.
  • Implement BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, and LSMW for HR data migration and integration.
  • Handle data uploads/downloads using SAP HR tools and programs.
  • Debug and resolve issues in existing custom HR programs and interfaces.
  • Work with SAP PI/PO or CPI interfaces where HR data is integrated with third-party systems.
  • Provide support for SAP HR Time Evaluation and Payroll Schemas (if needed).
  • Collaborate with Basis and Security teams for authorizations and transports.


Requirements:


Technical Skills:


  • Strong knowledge of

    SAP ABAP

    in the context of

    SAP HR/HCM

    .
  • Experience with

    Logical Databases

    (PNP, PCH), Macros, Clusters (e.g., PCL1, PCL2).
  • Hands-on experience in

    Payroll Schemas

    ,

    Time Evaluation

    , and

    Infotype Enhancements

    .
  • Familiar with

    SAP Forms

    (SmartForms, Adobe Forms, HRForms).
  • Good understanding of

    SAP HR data structures and tables

    .
  • Familiarity with

    Web Dynpro for ABAP

    or

    Fiori/UI5

    is a plus.


Soft Skills:


  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and individually with minimal supervision.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.


Education & Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience as an SAP ABAP Developer, with at least 2+ years in SAP HR module.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in

    SAP SuccessFactors integration

    .
  • Exposure to

    SAP S/4HANA

    .
  • SAP Certification in ABAP or HR Module.
