More about Gravita can be explored at: http://www.gravitaindia.com Base Location : Corporate Office, Jaipur Department : Sales Reporting to : SBU Head Reported by Deputy Manager/ Assistant Manager (Export Sales & Marketing) Senior Executives / Executives (Export Sales & Marketing) Key Responsibilities : 1. Sales Strategy & Planning: Identify and develop new export markets and sales opportunities for company products across different regions. Monitor and analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies as needed. 2. Customer Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and grow long-term relationships with international clients, distributors, and partners. Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions align with company policies and goals. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and following up on post-sales activities. 3. Sales Target & Performance Management: Set sales targets and KPIs for the export sales team and individual team members. Regularly monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions to meet targets. Ensure the team is well-equipped with the tools, training, and resources to succeed. 4. International Market Research & Documentation: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, demand patterns, and potential opportunities in global markets. Keep up to date with international trade laws, regulations, tariffs, and customs procedures. Oversee export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.). 5. Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with the logistics, operations, finance, and marketing teams to ensure smooth order processing, timely delivery, and alignment on promotional activities. Liaise with product management and R&D teams to ensure that customer feedback and market needs are considered in product development. 6. Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular reports on export sales performance, market insights, and competitive analysis for senior management. Provide recommendations for sales strategies and improvements based on data-driven analysis. Other Responsibilities : Based on the business plan, to fix KRA’s for the next level of reporting staff. Requires frequent traveling to multiple National/International locations. Q ualification : BE/B Tech in Mechanical/Chemical engineering or Equivalent MBA (Sales & Marketing) or Equivalent Experience : Minimum 10 years of experience in export sales or international business development Candidates from recycling industries will be preferred . Other preferred industries are metal, plastic, auto parts. Strong understanding of international trade regulations, tariffs, and logistics. Additional Skills : Working in SAP environment. Excellent communication, interpersonal and team-development skills. Relevant experience in metal industry & Non-Ferrous industry.
