SailPoint Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled SailPoint Engineer to join our security team. This role will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Identity and Access Management (IAM) program, with a primary focus on the SailPoint platform (IdentityIQ and/or IdentityNow). The SailPoint Engineer will play a key role in identity governance, access request management, and compliance enforcement across the organization. 

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement solutions within the SailPoint IdentityIQ or IdentityNow platform. 
• Configure and manage application onboarding, access certifications, and provisioning/deprovisioning workflows. 
• Develop and maintain custom connectors, rules, and workflows to integrate with various target systems. 
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define roles, policies, and access governance controls. 
• Provide technical expertise and support for all SailPoint-related functionalities. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to identity data, access, and system integrations. 
• Participate in compliance and audit activities, generating reports and evidence as required. 
• Stay informed about the latest SailPoint features and IAM best practices to enhance the platform. 
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of SailPoint configurations, processes, and integrations. 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience:

  8+ years of experience in IAM with a strong focus on SailPoint technologies. 

• Technical Skills:

    
• Hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ and/or IdentityNow, including implementation and administration. 
• Proficiency in Java, BeanShell, and other scripting languages for SailPoint customization. 
• Experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL, Oracle) and directory services (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP). 
• Knowledge of web services (REST/SOAP) and API integrations. 
• Understanding of identity lifecycle management, role-based access control (RBAC), and access certification processes. 

• Certifications (Nice-to-Have):

  SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer, SailPoint Certified IdentityNow Engineer. 

• Soft Skills:

  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a detail-oriented approach to work.
