Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer with deep expertise in both manual and automation testing for web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of testing complex transactional applications and ensuring platform stability, coupled with experience in performance, volume, and load testing. This role requires a proactive individual who can collaborate with developers from the development stage to catch defects early and maintain the overall stability and reliability of the Homeyhuts platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Platform Stability:

   Ensure the overall stability and reliability of the Homeyhuts platform through rigorous testing practices.

• Expert Manual Testing:

   Conduct thorough manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing, to ensure comprehensive coverage and identify any potential issues early.

• Automation Testing:

   Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, and TestNG to enhance test coverage and efficiency.

• Performance Testing:

   Perform detailed performance, volume, and load testing to assess the stability and scalability of the Homeyhuts platform.

• Collaborative Development:

   Pair with developers during the development phase to initiate early testing and identify defects promptly.

• Defect Management:

   Identify, document, and track defects rigorously; collaborate closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.

• Database Validation:

   Use advanced SQL skills to validate backend processes and ensure data integrity across the application.

• Continuous Improvement:

   Evaluate and recommend new testing tools and strategies to improve automation, efficiency, and quality of testing processes.

• Compliance and Standards:

   Ensure that all testing activities comply with industry standards and best practices for software quality assurance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of solid experience in both manual and automation testing

   for web and mobile applications (Experience in OTAs and Transactional Experience is preferred).
• Proven expertise in testing complex transactional applications, maintaining platform stability, and creating robust automated test scripts.
• Strong proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, JMeter, and TestNG.
• Extensive experience in performance, volume, and load testing for large-scale transactional applications.
• Advanced knowledge of database queries, particularly SQL, to perform backend validation.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for test automation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
• Experience with cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Knowledge of security testing for web and mobile applications.
